Barry Ward born 13 January 1971 in New South Wales, Australia is a former rugby league player. He played for the Bulldogs, Illawarra Steelers, Sydney Roosters and St Helens as a prop and in the second-row.
In 1996 he was fined $10,000 for racial vilification, when he called Anthony Mundine a "black ****".[1] In 2008 he became a member of the Canterbury Bulldogs Football Club board.[2] He relinquished membership of the board in late 2011 when he was named coach of the NSW Cup team.[3]
